I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I went to Auburn University (War Eagle) and graduated in 2010 with my elementary education degree. I taught in Atlanta for four years then moved to The Woodlands when I got married in 2014. This is my second year at Galatas teaching Math and Science in 3rd grade.
I am the middle child with two brothers, Lee and Patrick. They both still live in Atlanta. My older brother does Medical Sales and my younger brother is an Architect. My mom and dad, Lee and Anne Marie are also still in Atlanta. They are in the same house that I grew up in. I love and miss my family very much, but love living in Texas.
My new family in Texas is my husband Kyle and our adorable puppy Moony. Kyle and I met at Auburn University in 2009. We got engaged in April 2013 and married exactly a year later in April 2014. Kyle moved to The Woodlands when he was in middle school and graduated from The Woodlands High School. He now works as an engineer for LJA Engineering. We got Moony two years ago at the Montgomery Animal Shelter and he has been the most spoiled puppy ever since. He is our sweet little baby!
When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family and friends. I love traveling, watching college football, being outside, especially taking Moony swimming (it’s his favorite thing to do), shopping, baking, going to the movies, kayaking, and snow skiing. I love adventures and thrills like zip lining and trying new roller coasters. I am always willing to try something scary atleast once.
